Post match review: Wolves 2 - 0 United
Where do we even start with that nonsense?
Another shocking performance.
Wolverhampton Wanderers handed us our second consecutive Premier League defeat on Boxing Day, as the 10-man Reds lost 2-0 at Molineux.
Matheus Cunha scored the crucial opening goal in the 58th minute, when his corner kick unexpectedly curled directly into Andre Onana's net—echoing a similar incident from the Carabao Cup match against Tottenham Hotspur the previous week.
The most significant moment of the match occurred just after the start of the second half, when United captain Bruno Fernandes received a red card after picking up his second booking of the evening.
Some die-hard reds would argue that we fought hard following Cunha's goal. Perhaps, they are correct. That just feels like desperation to me. Even with a full team, we looked devoid of any ideas.
In the dying moments of the match, Hwang Hee-chan secured the three points for the Midlanders.
A miserable afternoon. There's nothing on Earth like being a red. More reaction from me and Olivia T to come on European Super Football.
